Atlantic Convergence: Building sustainable & secure digital infrastructures to power an AI enabled future. As AI reshapes economies and societies, the Atlantic region is emerging as a strategic corridor powering global digital and AI growth. With subsea cables, terrestrial fiber backbones, space‑enabled networks, and edge computing, demand for secure, fast, and resilient connectivity is rising sharply – driving the need for infrastructure that can support next‑generation compute capacity and an AI‑ready world. But scale alone is not enough. The Atlantic must now build infrastructure that is not only powerful, but also sustainable, sovereign, and secure. This means embedding cyber resilience, responsible AI governance, and green energy strategies across every layer of the digital ecosystem – while strengthening cross‑border collaboration and developing governance models that balance openness with sovereignty.Atlantic Convergence is proudly presented as an independent and inclusive initiative by DE‑CIX, the world’s leading Internet, Cloud & AI Exchange operator and provider of interconnection services, in partnership with AtlasEdge, Europe’s leading edge data‑center platform spanning 12 countries; EllaLink, operator the optical submarine cable linking Europe, Africa, and South America; Interfiber Networks, provider of turnkey fiber, IP transit, and aggregation solutions for Africa; MEO Wholesale Solutions, the business unit of Altice Portugal dedicated to wholesale telecom services across five global regions; and Nokia, a global leader in connectivity, advancing fixed, mobile, and transport networks for the AI era.Join us as we work towards building sustainable & secure digital infrastructures to power an AI‑enabled future.
